National Games Bowler

Not only did we send a Unified Soccer team to Special Olympics USA Games, but we also sent a bowler from the Bellingham School District Program. Dakota qualified for National Games by earning a gold medal at the Regional Tournament in Ferndale in October 2013.

Dakota had the time of his life while enjoying the plane ride, competition, a baseball game, an evening cruise around the Statue of Liberty, making new friends and much, much more.
He earned 1 gold medal and 2 silver medals.
Congratulations, Dakota!

State Basketball

Congratulations to the Bellingham Boom for taking 2nd place in their division at the State Basketball Tournament in Wenatchee. They played some outstanding basketball!

Basketball Season

Basketball season is starting up December 2nd right after Thanksgiving break!



You will find a link to a flier with more information under "Sports Info" on the right-hand side of this page.

1) Make sure you have a current Application for Participation on file with the District.

2) Make sure you wear comfortable shoes and clothes the day of practice.

3) If you are buying a t-shirt, make sure you mark the size on the flier and return it to school with $8 included.

The Bowling Tournament information has been posted to the blog under "Sports Info".

The tournament has 2 different shifts. Please read the information carefully so you know what time you are supposed to arrive.

Athletes must have a current AFP on file in order to attend and they must have participated in most or all of the practices.
